The short version of how a repair at Wynd works.

Estimates

Online estimates are ranges, not quotes. We give you the exact price by email after opening the watch, and no work starts until you agree to it.

Deposits and cancelling

A £20 deposit holds a drop-off slot for jobs of £30 or more. It comes off your bill. Cancel or move up to 24 hours before the slot and we refund it in full. After that, or if you don’t come, it covers the bench time. If you decline the estimate, the deposit covers the inspection and you collect the watch as it came in.

Guarantee

Services are guaranteed for 24 months from collection: timekeeping inside the maker’s tolerance and every part we fitted. The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, water let in through an open crown, or parts we advised replacing that you asked us to keep.

Uncollected watches

We keep finished watches safely for 6 months and write to you twice before then. After that we may charge a storage fee.
